The rupiah traded at 13,815 a dollar on Monday at around 03:30 AM GMT following an earlier of 13,940. after Bank Indonesia reported today that the country’s foreign exchange reserves rose to US$130.5 billion in May, the largest in four months, from US$127.9 billion a month earlier. Since the end of March, the rupiah has rebounded by almost 15%, according to the Jakarta Post, erasing most of the losses it recorded in the first three months of the year amid fears of the coronavirus outbreak.
