Morgan Stanley reported its research on Tuesday (May 12), pointing that some Asian countries, excluding Japan, had rooms for policies, especially the fiscal side, to support economic growth during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some central banks have cut interest rates by 25-125 basis points since early this year. They have rooms to reduce rates by 20-50 basis points further.
