Imam Nahrawi, the former Minister of Youth and Sports who is on trial for bribery, told those who had received money from Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) to get ready. Many looked forward to Imam naming names, but he did not mention anything new on trial. Miftahul Ulum was the one who surprised the public. On May 15, 2020, he testified that he had bribed officials of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) and the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) to avoid investigation. The AGO quickly responded to the accusation by forming a team to investigate the claim. On May 19, 2020, Ulum was examined by the AGO, where he reportedly refused to say anything outside the court proceedings.
