Oil and gas firm Energi Mega Persada (ENRG) booked a net profit of US$28 million in 2019, against loss of US$12.7 million in 2018 as operating profit jumped 116% to US$141 million from US$65.3 million and net sales rose 22% to US$334 million from US$273 million. Financial charges declined 29% to US$29 million from US$41 million. The company also recorded a lower cost of goods sold at US$176 million. So gross profit jumped 108% to US$157.5 million.
