Flag carrier Garuda Indonesia (GIAA) booked a net profit of US$6.46 million in 2019, against loss of US$229 million in 2018, on the back of cost efficiency and higher revenues. Revenue rose 5.3% to US$4.57 billion, while operating expenses declined 3.4% to US$4.41 billion.
