Bread maker Nippon Indosari Corpindo (ROTI) booked a net profit of Rp236.5 billion in 2019, jumped 86% from Rp127.2 billion in 2018 as sales grew 20.6% to Rp3.34 trillion from previous Rp2.76 trillion, getting a boost in Indonesia and the Philippines. The cost of goods sold only rose 16.7% to Rp1.49 trillion, resulting in a 24% rise in gross profit to Rp1.85 trillion from earlier Rp1.49 trillion. Operating profit jumped 84% to Rp357 billion from Rp194 billion in 2018.
