Indonesia was about to see a stronger economy in 2020 with series of reforms and completion of some major infrastructures. External pressures, however, started in the first week with US-Iran tension, followed by the start of Coronavirus outbreak in the second week of January. The country did welcome 1.27 million foreign tourists in January, an increase of 5.85% year-on-year, but broader travel restrictions hurt the full year prospect.To subscribe please click here
