Astra International (ASII), the country’s largest automotive company, reported stable earnings in 2019, with lower contributions from its agribusiness and automotive divisions, offsetting a higher contribution from its financial services division and gold mining operation. Automotive business contracted while financial services grew 22.% year on year (y/y). Agribusiness and property fell 85% and 48%, respectively, while infrastructure and the logistics business grew 49%.
