More than a year has passed since the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) uncovered the case of corruption involving the former Regent of Bekasi one Neneng Hassanah Yasin related to the Meikarta township project. The last time we reported on the progress was back in July 2019 when the KPK named new suspects in the case. Since then, one of the suspects has been prosecuted, and the trial is ongoing. The latest suspect in the case would reportedly face prosecution soon.
