The Chief of the National Police (Kapolri) General Idham Azis sent a signal that Insp. Gen. Gatot Eddy Pramono—the current chief of the Metro Jaya Police—may earn a promotion. The position of the National Police Chief of Criminal Investigation (Kabareskrim), as we all know, is still vacant. In addition, the current Police Deputy Chief (Wakapolri) Comr. Gen. Ari Dono Sukmanto will retire this month. So, which of the two positions will go to Gatot?
