Indonesia’s trade deficit declined to US$1.33 billion in November 2019 from a US$2.05 billion in the same month a year earlier. Exports fell 5.67%, led by oil and gas (-15.81%) and non-oil and gas products (-4.68%); while imports dropped at a faster 9.24%, due to oil and gas (-25.55%) and non-oil and gas products (-5.91%). Considering the first eleven months of the year, the trade deficit narrowed sharply to US$3.11 billion from US$7.62 billion in the same period of 2018.
