Asian stock markets surged in Friday, following reports that said the US and China has moved closer to a trade deal and after early results showed UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party won majority in UK election. Japan’s Nikkei soared 581 points or 2.15 percent to close at 24,023. Also, South Korea’s KOSPI advanced 33 points or 1.54 percent to settle at 2,170. Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index jumped 622 points or 2.31 percent to 27,616, at around 02:56 PM Hong Kong time. Also, the China Shanghai Composite index was 52.3 points higher or 1.79 percent to 2,968, at around 02:57 PM China time.
