Indonesia’s consumer confidence index declined to 118.4 in September 2019 from 121.8 in the previous month. This was the weakest reading since February 2017, with all sub-indices declining: economic outlook (down by 4.2 points to 132.0), current economic conditions (down by 3.1 points to 104), job availability compared to six months ago (down 2.5 points to 89.4), job availability expectations (down 3.7 points to 118.9), current income (down 3.8 points to 115.1) income expectations for the next six months ( down 2.5 points to 146.4), and the index of a good time to buy durable goods (down 7.9 points to 109.8).
