Bank Indonesia (BI) reported that, based on the Prompt Manufacturing Index (PMI), the processing industry grew slowly in the third quarter (Q3) of 2019, but it remains on the expansion phase. This is, however, an optimistic expectation, while Nikkei Indonesia Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) signaled that the processing industry entered the contraction phase in Q3 of this year.
