The rupiah strengthened significantly to Rp13,950 against the United States (U.S.) dollar on Friday last week (Sep. 13), closing below its psychological level Rp14,000, mainly supported by the progress on trade talks between the U.S. and China, also expectation over rates cut by many central banks in the world.
