Muhammad Rapsel Ali, the son-in-law of the elected Vice President KH Ma’ruf Amin, is under the spotlight following the General Election Commission (KPU)’s decision to not include his name in the list of 575 new lawmakers of the House of Representatives (DPR) for the 2019-2024 period—they will be sworn in on October 1, 2019. Rapsel, according to the KPU, did not submit his State Official Wealth Report (LHKPN) to the KPU.
