Today, Sep. 2, the Committee tasked with selecting the new leaders of the 2019-2023 Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is expected to submit the list of ten candidates to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo. That said, watchdog groups and observers have shared their pessimism. They’re responding to the decision of the Committee to pass the candidates from the Police and the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) into the final stage.
