Investigations into the forest fires are ongoing. The Police announced the progress of their investigation last month. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry also conducted their investigation. By the end of last week, the Ministry announced that they had named three corporate suspects who they believe to be responsible for the fires that spread in West Kalimantan.
