State construction firm, PT PP (PTPP) signed the contracts to build two steam power plants (PLTUs) in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and North Sulawesi with total costs Rp8 trillion. CEO of PTPP Hidayat explained, the capacity of each steam power plant will be 2×50 megawatts (MW). The construction of the first steam power plant was carried out on an area of 30 hectares in West Kupang, NTT. The second steam power plant was built on 32 hectares of land in the Bolaang Mongondow, North Sulawesi.
