PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia will merge with one of the telco operators in the country. Now it mulls to merge with PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), PT Indosat Ooredoo Tbk (ISAT), and PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN). It is now in talks with said three telco firms as targets of merging for the consolidation of the telco industry.
