In less than two months, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted two sting operations which uncovered cases of alleged corruption involving prosecutors of several different regions. After unintentionally discovering two instances of corruption in Jakarta by the end of June 2019, the latest sting operation was conducted earlier this week in Yogyakarta and Solo, Central Java. Six prosecutors are mentioned in the cases. The series of sting operations have caused a stir in the Attorney General’s Office.
