Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad admitted has allowed Indonesia’ ride-hailing operator GOJEK operation in Malaysia. The reason, he told media, to help the local bike hailing service before was disorganized and doesn’t give benefit the small business.

The mobile on-demand platform and digital payment is targeting the investment worth US$3 billion to enter the Southeast Asian market. Currently, the company has amassed about $1.6 billion by Series F Funding Round, said Nadiem Makarim, GOJEK’ founder. The funds were collected by investments made by several well-known companies.
