Finance minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati expects the national economy to grow by 5.08% in the second half (H2) of 2019, revised from previous 5.11%, amid the widening deficit. On state budget, the national economy’s growth is set at 5.2%.

Sri Mulyani the projected growth in 2019 has been calculated on the global and domestic conditions, especially influenced by weakening public and government consumption. Public consumption is predicted to grow 4.97-5%, revised from earlier projection of 5.33% growth.
