The Chinese offshore yuan, which trades outside the mainland, changed hands at 7.1 per US dollar Monday, remaining close to its weakest level since the global financial crisis, after posting its biggest weekly drop in over a year on uncertainty about US-China trade negotiations. The PBOC set its midpoint reference at a fresh 11-year low of 7.0211 per dollar.
