Stock markets across the Asia-Pacific region closed in the green on Wednesday on easing trade tensions, after the Trump administration said it will delay the tariffs on certain Chinese products, which had been set to take effect on September 1st, until December 15th. The Nikkei 225 jumped 1% to 20,655; the Shanghai Composite index rose 0.4% to 2,809; the Hang Seng index gained 0.2% to 25,342; the Kospi advanced 0.7% to 1,938; and the S&P/ASX 200 added 0.4% to 6,596.
