The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) still have a lot of homework to be done regarding corruption and abuse of power in regional government, particularly the scheme of corruption by selling off structural positions. Because even with so many examples and ongoing inquisition related to similar cases, the practice still occurs. By the end of last week, the KPK arrested the Regent of Kudus along with several people, who they named suspects the day after, also for taking bribes in exchange to appoint a civil servant to a higher position.
