Bill on Water Resources: Where are we now?

It has been over four years after the Constitutional Court through decision No. 85/PUU-XI/2013 granted the Judicial Review on Law No. 7/2004 on Water Resources and ruled that the Law unconstitutional. The Law and all of its technical regulations were thus annulled. The Government was forced to re-enact the Law No. 11/1974 on Irrigation and since then had enacted several ministerial level regulations to fill the absence of an up-to-date Law, but these are not enough.To subscribe please click here
