Stocks in the Asia-Pacific region closed in the green, following overnight gains in Wall Street after reports that trade negotiations between Beijing and Washington will begin next week. On Tuesday, Bloomberg reported that US Trade Representative Lighthizer will travel to China next Monday for the first high-level, face-to-face trade talks with Chinese officials.
