Stocks in the Asia-Pacific region finished in the green on Friday, following overnight gains in Wall Street as trade tensions between the US and Mexico eased on hopes of a delay in the imposition of tariffs on Mexican goods. The Nikkei 225 advanced 111 points, or 0.5% to 20,885; the Kospi rose 3 points, or 0.2% to 2,072 and Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 increased 61 points, or 1%, to 6,444. Markets in China and Hong Kong were closed due to a public holiday.
