Stocks in the Asia-Pacific region closed mixed on Friday, amid fears that the trade dispute among the world’s two largest economies could be hurt by the US economic sanctions on Huawei. The Shanghai Composite slumped 73 points, or 2.5% to 2,882; the Hang Seng dropped 301 points, or 1.1%, to 27,973; while the Nikkei 225 rose 187 points, or 0.9% to 21,250; and the S&P/ASX 200 increased 38 points, or 0.6% to 6,365.
