Indonesian government elevated benchmark price for several types of mining products, crude palm oil (CPO), and cocoa beans. The average price of manganese concentrate is raised by 0.22% to US$294.14/WE. Then, zinc concentrate increased 8.9% to US$824.06/WE. While rutile concentrate rose 0.37% to US$896.46/WE.
The reference price of the CPO product for May rose 0.91% to US$568.12 per metric ton (MT). The reference price of cocoa beans increased 4.49% to US$2,328.05/MT. This had an impact on strengthening the benchmark price of cocoa bean exports in May to US$2,045/MT, or up 5.03% from April’s US$1,947/MT.
While products that experienced a decline including copper concentrate with an average price of US$2,332.41/WE or down 0.63%, lead concentrate at US$813.53/WE or down 4.81%, ilmenite concentrate at US$216.31/WE or down by 0.79%, and bauxite at US$25.19/WE or down 0.05%.
