The Corruption Court of the Central Jakarta District Court recently listened to the prosecutors’ demands for Tamin Sukardi, a businessman who is now standing trial as a defendant in the case of bribery involving a judge of the Medan District Court in North Sumatera. The prosecutors demand seven years of imprisonment. Tamin is 75 years old. Separately on the same day, the Corruption Court of the Medan District Court also listened to the prosecutors’ demands for the disgraced Regent of Labuhanbatu Pangonal Harahap (PDI-P), who is standing trial for allegedly receiving bribes.
