State plantation firm booked net profit of Rp240.21 billion in 2018, a 19% higher compared to the target. It boosted its production of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) to 24 tons per hectare per year, also targeting to book net profit of Rp325 billion this year. In 2017, PTPN V’s FFB production reached 19 tons per hectare per year. The Company also plans to build new CPO mill with production capacity of 30 tons of FFB per hour. PTPN V mulls to launch the initial public offering (IPO).
