China’s consumer price inflation slowed to 6-month low of 1.9% yoy in December 2018 from 2.2% in November, below market consensus of 2.1%. Cost of non-food increased softer, while food inflation remained at its lowest in three months. For the whole 2018, inflation rate was recorded at 2.1%, missing the government’s target of around 3%.
