In mid-November, the Government of Indonesia announced that it would allow foreigners to own shares in 54 business types by revising the Negative Investment List (DNI), but it has now changed its mind. The Government has taken out 13 business types from the consideration, bringing the number of revision down to 41 business types to be opened to foreign ownership.
