PT Sariwangi Agricultural Estate Agency (Sari Wangi AEA Co Ltd – Sariwangi) and its subsidiary PT Maskapai Perkebunan Indorub Sumber Wadung (Indorub) first escaped bankruptcy in September 2015. Since then both companies also escaped several other similar lawsuits. Entering August 2018, both must again face a lawsuit demanding a cancellation of the peace agreement promulgated in 2015. The third hearing of the trial was held on August 30, 2018, but Sariwangi’s representatives were not present despite several summons sent by the court. Separately, the PKPU lawsuit filed by PT Bank UOB Indonesia against PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera and PT Poly Meditra Indonesia, subsidiaries of PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Tbk (AISA) at the Semarang District Court was granted last week. So PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera and PT Poly Meditra Indonesia officially began their debts restructuring process. This is the second PKPU lawsuit filed against AISA and its subsidiaries which were granted by the court. There is one other PKPU lawsuit filed at the Central Jakarta District court and the decision is to be read on September 5, 2018. Meanwhile, the dispute between the board of commissioners and Joko Mogoginta continues.
