State port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) 3 allocates Rp700 billion for building fuel terminal facility, called as tank farm, in three port areas, cooperating with state construction firm PT Pembangunan Perumahan Tbk (PTPP). That three ports are Benoa (Bali), Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), and Tanjung Emas (Semarang). This project will be handled by PT Pelindo Energi Logistik (PEL) and PT PP Energi. PEL holds 60% interest in said project, while PP Energi holds the balance.
Tank farm in Benoa will have capacity of 50,000 kiloliter (kl). PEL has built LNG terminal with capacity of 32,500 mmbtu per day in Bali. In Tanjung Emas, PEL and PP Energi will build tank farm for supplying gas to Tambak Lorok gas and coal-fired power plant (PLTGU) owned by PT Indonesia Power.
