Global stock markets slumped on Monday (Aug. 13) as investors fear that the financial crisis in Turkey could hurt other markets. The composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) dropped 3.55% to close at 5,861 yesterday, while the rupiah weakened to Rp14,583 against the U.S. dollar.
