National motorcycles sales to dealers grew 11.2% to 3 million unit in the first half (H1) this year, compared to 2.7 million units sold during H1 last year. Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha recorded a positive distribution in said period, while Suzuki and TVS reported lower distribution. The challenges for motorcycles sales this year are trade war between US and China, the depreciation of local currency Rupiah, and interest rate hike.
