PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Tbk (BBRI) booked profit after tax of Rp14.93 trillion in first half (H1) of 2018, grew 15% from Rp13.45 trillion in the corresponding period of 2017. Net interest income rose 5.5% to Rp38.66 trillion. Operating profit increased 12.5% to Rp18.47 trillion. Loans grew 7.4% to Rp771 trillion Third party funds reached Rp810 trillion, lower than previous Rp814 trillion. BRI’s CAR stood at 20% while NPL net was 1.1%.
