Asian stock markets closed deep in the red amid uncertainties over global trade relations and expectations that the US Federal Reserve will raise rates next week and twice again later in the year. The Shanghai Composite index dropped 1.4%, to 3,067, despite strong trade data. The Nikkei 225 fell 0.6%, to 22,695. And the Kospi lost 0.8%, to 2,452.
