Indonesia’s gross domestic product shrank 0.42% quarter-on-quarter (q/q) in the three months to March of 2017, following a 1.7% contraction in the previous quarter. Year on year (y/y), the economy expanded by 5.06%, following a 5.19% growth in the previous period. Both exports and government spending increased at a slower, and household consumption almost was unchanged while fixed investment slightly rose faster than previous period.
