Indonesia’s central bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) on Thursday (April 19) decided to leave its benchmark 7-day reverse repo rate (BI 7-day RR Rate) unchanged at 4.25% for the seventh straight meeting. Growth (5.1-5.5%) and inflation (3.5 ą 1%) forecasts for 2018 were kept unchanged. The lending and the deposit facility rates were also left steady at 5% and 3.5% respectively. Policymakers said that the current policy stance was consistent with efforts to maintain macroeconomic and financial stability amid rising external pressures.To subscribe please click here
