Finance Ministry is going to announce the latest data on tax achievement today (Jan. 2). By December 15, 2017, State revenues from tax had reached Rp1058.4 trillion or about 82.46% of the target set in the revised 2017 State Budget (Rp1,283 trillion). Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati predicted that the tax shortfall will be in the range of Rp110 trillion to Rp130 trillion. Budget deficit, however, will be in the range of 2.6-2.7% because of higher non-tax revenues, including royalties from coal and minerals. To subscribe please click here
