The Chairman of the opposition party Gerindra, Lt. Gen. (ret) Prabowo Subianto, announced the Party’s governor candidate for Central Java: Sudirman Said, who is the former minister of energy & mineral resources (ESDM) under President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo. Sudirman’s nomination means that Gerindra has been nominating their own candidates in all of the gubernatorial races in Java that will take place next year.
