The Indonesian economy advanced 5.06% year-on-year (y/y) in the third quarter (Q3) of 2017, following a 5.01% growth in the previous two periods, driven by fixed investment, government spending, and exports while private consumption went up at a slower pace. GDP grew by 3.18% quarter-on-quarter (q/q) in the September quarter of 2017, slowing from a 4.0% growth in the previous period. For Jan-Sep 2017 period, the GDP grew 5.03%.
