Idrus Marham was named the acting chairman of the Golkar Party, and will thus temporarily take over the leadership from Chairman Setya Novanto. That said, the Party will wait for Novanto’s pre-trial lawsuit. The Party will hold an extraordinary chairmanship congress (Munaslub) if Novanto lose and will return the leadership back to Novanto if he can win the lawsuit. This is Novanto’s last chance.
