The Yasin Limpo family has been controlling the government of South Sulawesi for more than a decade. Some even believe that the Yasin Limpo family in South Sulawesi is the “dynasty” that is far more powerful than the infamous dynasty of Ratu Atut in Banten, West Java. The problem now is that Ichsan Yasin Limpo, the younger brother of South Sulawesi Governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo who’s being groomed by the family to continue to dominate the province, does not yet have a ticket to participate in the province’s gubernatorial election next year.
