PT Mulia Industrindo Tbk (MLIA) decided to stop its ceramic business by divesting unit, PT Muliakeramik Indahraya to PT Eka Gunatama Mandiri for Rp425 billion value. Eka Gunatama is also main shareholder of MLIA with 43.11% ownership. MLIA suffered loss of Rp82 billion in first half (H1) this year, against profit of Rp65.4 billion in the same period last year. Revenue only rose slightly to Rp3 trillion from previous Rp2.9 trillion. MLIA will focus in other unit, PT Muliaglass as this unit has its stable growth, inline with the (glass) industry.
