The Government targets to raise Rp13.4 trillion from offering retail bonds (series ORI014) with tenor of 3 years, offering annual coupon rate at 5.85%. The offering of this retail bonds started Friday last week (Sept 29) and will last in October 19, 2017. The Government raised Rp19.69 trillion from retail bonds issue in October last year. Until September, the Government has raised Rp385 trillion from issuing bonds and other debt instruments, representing 82.93% of target for this year. Retail bonds issued by Government also aims empower domestic investors amid the growing flow of foreign investors in the government securities market.
